One of the best things about our Con – Log ® cabins is how fast we can install the kits.
On average, kit build time is 1 to 3 days.
An overview of the process is as follows:
Each log is individual. They sit on a footer, typically with a crawl space, but sit directly on the footer wall.
A crane is used to stack each log, fitting them snug together. Bolts are staggered throughout each log to hold them stable.
Logs that have the floor and roof supports are equipped with plates bolted directly to the log. All interior framing works in union with those plates.
Our metal roofs are on wood trusses and insulated with 9” Foam Insulation.
Following log set up, doors and windows are installed. If equipped, a stamped concrete porch is poured. Staining and sealing to follow.
